She has an older sister named Sinead. The only female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny in 2012. Bea was presented with the award in memory of her father. Aisling O'Sullivan, whose real name is as Cliodhnadh Aisling was born in Kildare town in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was a veterinarian who worked with horses who died by suicide at three-years-old. However, she did not learn the cause of her death until thirteen years later. As a way to honor her father, she took the stage name Bea and in 2017 published an article on suicides in her family members for The Guardian. Bea and her older sister Sinead was raised with Helen Moloney (n e Moloney), a former jockey and teacher at a secondary-school. Their family was obsessed with horses and race meetings. Bea was a child a tour guide in the Irish National Stud. From an early age, Bea knew that she did not want to pursue the racing industry. She was more interested in the artistic arts.
